Raw. Funny. Brilliant. Get it so you can laugh and learn till your brain and face hurt.
Nice little movie--some people have been a little too critical of this film. Felix is a lost innocent (think: Puck from "Midsummer Night's Dream" meets Najinski. The boy is VERY easy on the eyes) stumbling into other people's lives. Oddly enough, the supportive players were much more developed than Felix. Not a great film but it made for a nice evening and had a voice to its story and something to say.
Too disjointed and badly edited. Really a shame--the ending was so slapped together.
This Aint no friggin' horror movie. Someone placed it in the wrong category: Written by Billie Bob Thornton, based on a true story about his mother who is a psychic, lovely acting, great plot with tons of suspense and an amazing performance by Keaunu Reeves--and I can't stand the guy. Get it and it will make you think and break your heart a little too.
Wow. What a total waste. A HUGE problem with lack of ideas and character. I am one of the only people in the world who paid FULL PRICE see "Super Mario Brothers" in a theatre. Trust me: this was worse.
Why oh WHY can't someone make a vampire movie that is either classy, erotic, scary or all three? This movie was sooo unfinished...it didn't make up for it in humor or irony either. Special FX were good but just emphasized the poor quality of everything else.
Such a great film--very interesting and important to listen to the director discuss the deleted scenes. Had it been better marketed it would have been a smash. If you liked "Memento" you'll love this.
Fun movie made annoying by Mr. Travolta who is now fat with an oh-so-scary Rosie O'Donnel voice, wardrobe, HAIR and mannerisms. This role (the villain) needed a young Sean Connery type, but we get Rosie instead. By the way...I LIKE Ms. O'Donnel, just NOT played by John Travolta. Hugh J. and Halle were great.
Five stars...As in "Actors who you recognize but can't seem to place who do AMAZING work" in this really great film. If you want a true look at a woman's struggle to change TOWARDS her kids and grow AWAY from her addictions...then get this film NOW. What a nice suprise it was to watch this.
