At the 80s, with only 3 channels on TV, 2 of them foreign, I remember myself glued to the screen, watching films with no subtitles. This is how I got infected with the movies' bug (and started learning English). So I studied cinema, experienced actual movie making, and after University (Law and Management actually…) I worked in distribution and acquisition of movies, traveling to festivals, watching films and reading scripts. Now I devote my expertise to Jinni, in order to bring a new approach to movies discovery, using our unique Genome. Enjoy using Jinni as much as I enjoy creating it.

It's very stupid, but eventually, it makes you think where our society is headed. With everything becoming short, shallow and vulgar, and when people demand immediate results and satisfaction, I'm not sure this movie is not on to something, other than taking grossout humor to new extremes...
If you don't build huge expectations following the hype, and are not a comics/superhero fanatic that see all related movies, then you'll probably enjoy. It's like you get 4-5 superhero movies in the price of 1, with good action, good humor, and good self awareness. The villain is well played, The Hulk finally got a good performance, the humor is good and in generous amount and Scarlett Jahansson is finally bearable. I could have done without the kitsch ending, with a bit more intelligence in the battle scenes in the third act and without the redundant and annoying 3D. Overall, this is what Hollywood is for, and it delivers. If you decide to see it, then only in the cinema.
