Summary of The Black Donnellys
Created by Paul Haggis and Bobby Moresco (CRASH), the gritty NBC drama series THE BLACK DONNELLYS follows the troubled lives of four Irish-American Catholic siblings. Their story is told from the unreliable viewpoint of their incarcerated friend, Joey Ice Cream (Keith Nobbs). The brothers are involved in organized crime in New York's Hell's Kitchen, where the rivalry between the Irish and Italian clans is rife. Tommy Donnelly (Jonathan Tucker) tries to make amends for his brothers's wrongdoings, until Jimmy makes a fatal mistake that has disastrous consequences for the family.
