Summary of Strong Medicine
A humorous, heart-wrenching hospital drama, this Lifetime series follows two very different doctors as they run a women's health center. Dr. Dana Stowe (Janine Turner) is a cancer researcher whose funding has fallen through, so she joins forces with her former rival, Dr. Lu Delgado (Rosa Blasi), at her struggling free clinic. The tough pair of doctors are aided by outspoken receptionist Lana Hawkins (Jennifer Lewis, who also sings the theme song), and the attractive nurse and midwife, Peter Riggs (Joshua Cox).
