Summary of Real Time with Bill Maher
Having been pink-slipped by ABC for taking the title of his nightly talk show Politically Incorrect a bit too literally, comedian/raconteur Bill Maher resurfaced with a similar but far less inhibited chatfest on the HBO cable network. Telecast live in the late Friday-evening hours, Real Time with Bill Maher included the usual topical banter and broadsides exchanged by host Maher and his politically diverse celebrity panelists, with a new feature added to the proceedings in which promising young comedians were given a showcase for their talents.
