Profile of Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica

The mood of Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica is feel good and humorous. The plot centers around a TV show, relationships vs. career, and a midlife crisis. It is a comedy and romance TV show. Stylistically, Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica is a reality TV show. In approach, it is realistic. It takes place, at least partly, in an ocean or sea. Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica happens in contemporary times. It is especially suggested for a date night.

Summary of Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica

Somehow Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson have managed to escape the "Bennifer" curse that plagues most celebrity couples. The world seems to actually like them. Perhaps this is because they are actually married and what's more, have stayed together long enough for several seasons of their hit reality show. While the premise of following two married pop-stars sounds potentially nauseating, the resulting NEWLYWEDS series is actually quite entertaining. Aside from being rich, good-looking, and famous, Nick and Jessica seem to be nice, normal people (that viewers can relate to). But what makes the couple most likeable is their openness. These newlyweds have earned the public's good graces precisely by letting them in.
