Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, 1999 -

This series is absolutely amazing. Each of its episodes is so brilliantly written and well acted, that big Hollywood thrillers pale in comparison (for example, the Lincoln Lawyer can be compared to a decent SVU episode, not much more). Episodes and stories never fail to be tense, suspenseful, disturbing and full of twists. The episodes are so captivating thanks to the quick pace and handful of events, that each feels like a full length movie (maybe because I watch it with no commercial breaks). I hope they will not shut it down like they did with the parent show (although I never liked it as much).
