Kôdo giasu: Hangyaku no rurûshu, 2006 - 2007

Don't get me wrong, I liked this, but that's all. I liked it. Now if you can stop reading if you don't want me to highlight what I like/dislike about this. Oh and I haven't seen R2. This started out pretty nicely, and it had quite a bit of potential, but I think it lost that about halfway through. To be precise, episodes 1-12 were great, nicely done and quite enjoyed by me. Episodes 13-15 I loved, they were awesome with a great plot and interesting events. 16-18 were as good as episodes 1-12. 19 was slightly better than okay. 20-21 were as good as 1-12. 22 made my stomach knot, easily the worst episode of the series(in my opinion.) 23 was satisfying because it ended the horrors of episode 22, it was just decent. 24 and 25 were decent, I can't say why but they just felt anti-climactic to me, but maybe that's just me thinking "Cowboy Bebop Style," which, in essence, makes all endings that are even remotely unsatisfying becomes something I don't really praise. On the good side of things, I watched the dub, and the voice acting was really good(in my opinion.) The animation was really clean and crisp as well. When R2 comes out as a complete season set, I will buy, in hopes that it will not only complete this series, but transcend it. A person, can hope, now can't he.
