Jeeves and Wooster, 1990 - 1993

I should disclaim to start that I've only had the blessing to see the first series of Jeeves and Wooster so far, but I cannot recall time better spent insofar as my own complete entertainment goes. The humor is dry, and the wit sublime. Hugh Laurie is Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry is Stephen Fry and I am no longer able to think of any more positive analogy than their own names to put to them. If any two actors have ever given a more perfect performance I have yet to see it, and at this point in my life cannot imagine such to exist without my even having heard of it. How very uncool to write such a gushing review I know, but what am I to say? How can I speak but the truth? Should I invent some fault in the series that does not exist? In the grand tradition of British Television production quality is never once sacrificed for more episodes per series than the production can afford, but instead the opposite. At only a few episodes per series and only 23 over the entire run of the program, finding the time to watch Jeeves and Wooster is easy enough. Provided you can find the show to watch at all, you most certainly should. I can think of no audience for whom this show would not be the best possible way to enjoy an evening.
