Patrick Swayze stars in this taut, fast-paced miniseries, which was adapted from Frederick Forsyth's bestselling book of the same name. He plays Jason Monk, a tough ex-CIA agent trying to avert anarchy and stave off the rise of a sinister extremist named Igor Komarov (Patrick Bergin), who plans to exploit Russia's chaotic political climate, and take revenge on his henchman Anatoli Grishin (Ben Cross), who brutally murdered Monk's agents during the Cold War.
