Summary of Hercules - The Legendary Journeys

A hit when it aired, the series was preceded by five television movies. The show stars Kevin Sorbo as Hercules, the son of Zeus and a mortal woman, Alcmene. Given to tempestuous fits of anger, Hercules decides to control his rage once and for all by using his supernatural abilities for the good of man. Along with his friend Iolaus, Hercules roams the Earth to fight mythological monsters and help humanity.

Not as good as Xena
It has he same scenery and similar stories as Xena: Warrior Princess, but the characters has much less psychological depth and therefore it gets boring much more quickly. it's still fun to watch, but if you have to choose one, choose Xena.
