Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, 2008

The story has a silly premise, and progresses to the point of downright ridiculous, but underneath it, there's a lot of depth. It questions the established lines of morality, and has a wonderful love triangle thrown in. The idea of the "mindless sheeple" seems to come straight from Rand. I would have appreciated a happier ending, but I suppose that wouldn't have fit in. In the end, the hero/villain gets what he always wanted, but it's never revealed whether it actually makes him happy.
