Dexter can be described as atmospheric, captivating, and suspenseful. The plot revolves around hidden identities, obsession, and a serial killer. Its comic aspect comes from dark humor. Summary of Dexter

After playing a mild-mannered funeral home director in SIX FEET UNDER, Michael C. Hall makes a smooth transition to a serial killer in this Showtime original series. But the twist in this smart show is that Dexter chooses to prey only on other serial killers. As a child, Dexter was adopted by a cop (James Remar) who quickly realizes that his new son is no ordinary boy. Since Dexter is compelled to kill, his law-abiding father pushes him to choose his quarry in a way that will best benefit society. As Dexter grows older, he works as a blood splatter expert in Miami, giving him a close view of other murderers and their handiwork. Stylish and blackly comic, this drama is adapted from Jeff Lindsay's novel DARKLY DREAMING DEXTER.

Stop making this show now please

Past S3 or 4 this show started going downhill and it's going fast. Now they are using cheap tricks i.e. the current season's last episode cliff hanger to get people to tune in. The character and plot holes seem to be getting bigger and it's not as... Read and rate it

Not really my cup of tea.

The serie is okey I guess, acting is quite good, so are the settings... but the story line in both the first and second season is extremely predictable. I also don't get why Dexter is also winning about his lack of contact with his emotion and... Read and rate it
