Summary of Big Love
HBO pushes the boundaries once again with this hit show about a man with three wives. Bill Paxton (ALIENS) stars as Bill Henrickson, a Salt Lake City fundamentalist Mormon who appears to have eked out an achingly mundane existence for himself. But scratch beneath the surface and Bill is far from ordinary. Balancing three wives--Barb (Jeanne Tripplehorn), Nicki (Chloe Sevigny), and Margene (Ginnifer Goodwin)--who live in adjoining houses, Bill also has seven children to raise. He negotiates the strange and stressful setup throughout the show, while his best friend Don Embry (Joel McKinnon Miller) often chimes in with some advice from his own life as a polygamist.
