Profile of Afro Samurai

The mood of Afro Samurai is stylized, exciting, and rough. The plot centers around samurai, androids and robots, and lone wolves. It is an action, adventure, and animation TV show. Stylistically, Afro Samurai anime, is futuristic, and features martial arts. In approach, it is serious. The pacing is fast. Afro Samurai takes place, at least partly, in a bar. It is adapted from a comic. It is especially suggested for a boys' night.

Summary of Afro Samurai

PULP FICTION's Samuel L. Jackson brings his trademark cool to this hip animated series. Afro Samurai (Jackson) is on the hunt for vengeance as he follows the inappropriately named Justice (Ron Perlman, HELLBOY), who is his father's murderer. This mash-up of samurai life and hip-hop features the musical talents of Wu Tang Clan's The RZA.
