The Man Who Planted Trees, 1988

One person may not be able to change the world, but with dedication and hard work, one person can certainly change part of it. The very believable "The Man Who Planted Trees" (actually a work of fiction, but often mistaken for a true story) adequately demonstrates that. The understated animation beautifully takes full advantage of the medium, and works great with the style of storytelling. Highly recommended.
