Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days & 30 Nights - Hollywood to the Heartland, 2006

This is mislabeled as a standup comedy show. While that is the setting, its not really what the movie is about. Yes, there are snippets of standup throughout, but the focus is on the young, unknown comedians who comprise the tour. It shows struggles to find their voice, or learning to play a clean house without cursing. Its more than just a few guys telling jokes; its a small picture of the personal evolution of comedy. I enjoyed this movie, but i also liked Comedian with Seinfeld because of its glimpse into a stand-ups world. Im not sure if you have to be a fan of Vince Vaughn, or of Wild West terminology, but funny is funny, and while the stand-ups are young and unhoned, funny remains to be funny pretty much where ever you go. This was funny.
