Summary of Velocity Trap
Set in 2150, this sci-fi adventure follows Raymond Stokes (Olivier Gruner), an upright policeman set up to take the fall for the accidental shooting of a rookie officer. As punishment, Stokes gets assigned rent-a-cop duty on a spacecraft headed for remote outposts -- and hauling $40 billion. But the routine job becomes fraught with danger when space pirates try to hijack the vessel and its cargo while a giant asteroid races toward the spaceship.
