San Francisco Chronicle
Twilight has a few gory plot turns - mostly offscreen - and one near-sex scene that may offend a few Amish people, but the rest is maybe 33 percent less wholesome than "High School Musical." It's almost certainly less risque than what you were...

The New Yorker
A genuine love story might be difficult for a young audience to handle, but this fantasy is blissful madness--an abstinence fable sexier than sex.

A dull film....
....that goes on way past its sell buy date. Fleeting moments of interest are interspersed with dreary supposedly meaningful dialogue. The problem is the film thinks it is so important - rather like Mills and Boon thinking it's Emily Bronte.

Just bad. Honestly.
I'm sorry, I really am. I know that lots of people love this movie, but it was... it was just plain awful. And it's completely ruined a generation of people for what they now expect vampires to be. The romance was eh, Kristen Stewart can't act...

Eh...
I tried to get into it but I just couldn't do it. It just doesn't live up to the classic vampire shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: http://www.jinni.com/tv/buffy-the-vampire-slayer/ Angel:...

I liked Twilight. I enjoyed it very much, it is one of the most sanitized vampire movies ever to be released, not much blood as compared to Tru Blood. A new twist on Vampires being able to not have to go to ground at the crack of dawn. Dr Cullen...

Having read the book, I can safely say this is a terrible movie adaptation. I think 3 Men and a Baby is a better movie version of the Twilight book than this film is. Kristen Stewart plays Bella, which seems like a good match, except Kristen's...

I am 56 and have never read the books. I loved the movie and thought it had just the right amount of action/drama ratio. The men and boys (57,33, 16) that I watched it with also liked it but not as much as I did. Not enough action was their reason....

Bad!
This film is so bad, that it only manages to be beaten in its low-production value by its successor Twilight: New Moon. The actors are some of the worst I've ever seen with emphasis on the lead actor Rob Pattinson. Additionally, the film moves so...

Rated 3 stars only because there is no 2.5 INDIFFERENT option. Very lame translation of a film based on a book. Problems include casting choices, dialogue, and plot holes. The fascination and craze with vampires led the studio and director to put...

Terrible...for guys
I am a guy and I hated it. The movie ruined vampires with the sparkling and it was weird how Edward only sparkled in full sunlight.(2 or 3 clouds and nothing happens?) The ending was randomly violent as well. The acting was stiff and unemotional...

As an adult male, I figured I was going to downright hate this, but overall it's not completely unwatchable. It's clearly aimed towards a younger audience who really don't care about a solid story or character development because it's scarce here,...

Nicely done but with poor plot
