Profile of Trust

The mood of Trust is disturbing, emotional, and sincere. The plot centers around sexual abuse, a life turned upside-down, and a family in crisis. It is a drama movie. Summary of Trust

A suburban family is torn apart when fourteen-year-old Annie (Liana Liberato) meets her first boyfriend online. After months of communicating via online chat and phone, Annie discovers her friend (Chris Henry Coffey) is not who he originally claimed to be. Shocked into disbelief, her parents (Clive Owen and Catherine Keener) are shattered by their daughter's actions and struggle to support her as she comes to terms with what has happened to her once innocent life.

The first 30 minutes are just perverted.

There's no reason for filming this kind of scenes - insinuation would be just fine in this case, of under-aged girls in questionable scenes. Can't believe "Ross" directed it. At first I thought I was watching "American Pie: 2 Sick 2 Perverted",... Read and rate it

A complex situation, told with great clarity

"Trust" tells a very scary story. It tells it in a dramatic atmosphere, making sure we all sink into it. Schwimmer is revealed here as an extraordinary director, managing the cast to be so sincere, especially the girl, who is a young teenage actress. Read and rate it
