The Transformers: The Movie, 1986

What a trip down memory lane! Like others I rented this for the Saturday morning memories and in anticipation of the live action movie coming out in july. Yeah it's dated but the storyline is better than some of the film released the past few years. Old fans of the show will get a kick out of this while youngsters will find it no big deal. A HIGHLIGHT was having two guys from the Transformers fanclub doing commentary on an episode which was only seen in japan and connect the characters from the tv show right to the film. A memorable viewing which took me back to those amazing Saturday mornings which included Voltron the Thundercats and He-Man during the 80s.
