Prepare yourself and your kids to see the darker side of life
What felt one-dimensional and light-hearted in the first two movies comes alive in this movie. The first movie came out 16 years ago and even then I felt the story was a fairytale and little to offer in the way of character depth.
In this movie the characters have more depth and the situations get real... very real. This movie will take you to the very heart of darkness. The characters will be only feet away from complete and total annihilation, you will feel for the characters as they sense the very fear of losing it all. If you have young children , be sure hold on to them as there are scenes which are truly terrifying.
Not to reveal the ending, but once you take your family into the darkness of this movie, you will appreciate the light it brings at the end.

Didn't like the first two...
... but this was great!
I didn't go into the movie expecting much, as I didn't find the first two particularly good. But as the movie went on I liked it more and more. The plot had a nice pace, was genuinely funny and made me care about the...

Toys are back to there best
It's a end of a era toy story 3 makes a great final ending to the series. It is much better than 2 it is as good as 1. Must see!!!!!!!

Toy story 3 was excellent! It was sad but happy all at the same time.
It was amazing how realistic the toys escape plans were. It was scary
to see some children's favorite toys about to become mush , but then that gigantic claw picks them up....

to see some children's favorite toys about to become mush , but then that gigantic claw picks them up. hooray! Another sad part was when the clown told Woody the story of the bear and the big baby. It reminded me of the velveteen rabbit. Toy story 3 possessed something that you would never experience without seeing it.Toy story 3 was beautiful in it's own way and I recommend this movie for anyone with a strong heart so that they can bear to see this movie.

The third Best Picture-worthy Pixar film in a row, (and probably only the third serious animated Best Picture contender ever) Toy Story 3 could have easily been the phoned-in installment of this franchise and still would have made buckets of money....

The third Best Picture-worthy Pixar film in a row, (and probably only the third serious animated Best Picture contender ever) Toy Story 3 could have easily been the phoned-in installment of this franchise and still would have made buckets of money. Instead, what the film does is open with fun, imagination, lightheartedness and humor, and then begins to set up what will be the proverbial rug being yanked from under you. Once again Pixar uses non-human characters to further show us things about our own humanity. In Toy Story 3's case, these lessons are about loyalty, love, loss, and the true meaning of friendship, be it human or toy, child or adult. While it may not have the full-on weep-inducing sequences of Up!, I did find myself getting teary in a couple spots, but left smiling bigger than I have in a long time.
*Side note; The opening short, Day & Night, may be one of the most brilliant pieces of short film I've ever seen, animated or otherwise. Bravo to Pixar once again.

The jokes don’t stop!
Funny and touching, this movie is everything I wanted it to be and more. It makes a wonderful finale for this magnificent trilogy.

An excellent movie!
I just loved this one! Those guys at Pixar have done it again. It’s absolutely wonderful, hilarious, and excellent for kids, adults, the whole family and friends.
