I hate to do it to the turtles but...I didn't like the cheap xbox-game looking animation, the storyline that didn't keep my interest, or the fight scenes which were pretty standard and monotonous.
On this day I'd rather have turtle soup than heroes...

This was a great movie. One of the best things about it IMHO is the fact that it was a bit more mature and "deeper" the the other TMNT movies. It was actually a pleasant surprise after having read a few negative reviews. Sort of like it grew up with...

A fun filled movie that fans of TMNT will surely enjoy. The action picks up in the last 20 min. but the film could be the best TMNT of them all. The CGI is amazing and the plotline is interesting. It seems like they held back a little for future...

It seems like they held back a little for future movies but this was a rebirth of the turtle series I loved as a kid.

A fun diversion, and true enough to old Turtles lore and style. The animation isn't top-notch, but it isn't 'Doogal', either. If you've ever been a fan of the Turtles, I'd suggest watching this. it is flawed, but fun.

The animation in this film is truly astounding. The fight scenes, especially the one on the roof, are truly remarkable. The way in which the animators made the light move over the surfaces is incredible. The turtles look very, very cool. The only grip I have with the animation is the humans look like they were extras from "The Incredibles". If I were rating this for animation it would be ****. So why is this only ***? First, the plot is pretty shaky. In stead of sticking to what we know, Shredder and Foot Clan, the villain is a generic ancient evil. Also the voice acting is so-so, nothing that is going to draw you in or turn you off. With improvements in either plot or voice acting this could easily have jumped to ****. If you are just looking for sweet animation or are looking for a shot of nostalgia this is a good ticket.
