Summary of The Trial of Old Drum
Based on a true story, The Trial of Old Drum tells the story of 11 year-old Charlie (Bobby Edner) and his best friend Drum, a loyal golden retriever. When Charlie's cranky Uncle Lon (John Schuck) accuses Drum of killing several of the farming community's sheep, it begins a battle between Charlie and Lon which divides the community and goes all the way to court. With Drum's life on the line, Charlie is prepared to do whatever it takes to defend his canine pal. Randy Travis, Scott Bakula, and Ron Perlman co-star.
