The Ten, 2007

This style of comedy is not for everyone. Having said that, its definitely for me. Its bizarre, slapstick, but intelligent. Theres some great filmmaking going on here, as well as some fantastic comedic performances by Paul Rudd and the rest of the cast. I just rewatched this with four of my friends the other night and they all loved it, but readily admitted that the four of us were the only people that they knew of that would like it, which might explain why its rated so low on this site. I was shocked to see an average of 2.6. This film deserves better, but because of the tone, the film is limited to such a small number of viewers that might enjoy it. If you like Wet Hot American Summer, you might like this, but its still not the same exact tone. Give it a whirl.
