this movie is so intelligent and emotional and funny - the cannibalistic chicken story line gets me every time. i'd recommend this movie again and again.

It's been 3 days since I've seen this movie, and I still can't seem to stop re-running it in my mind. It is captivating, it's gripping, it's fast, it's elegant and it gets you hooked. The amazing achievement is that although the movie establishes...

Intriguing and fun
The snappy dialogue, along with the clever splicing of court scenes and the start of Facebook, made this movie for me. The story of how Facebook began is intriguing and compelling, even if it's not 100% true.

I found it uninteresting, uninspired... and really, who cares about how Facebook was founded and who lost money? A very overrated film.

Possible to watch
I admit that I watched this movie because facebook is more than on a wave now. But it didn't appear as a "must watch". I liked how Jesse acted and it wast interesting for me to see how did the facebook evolved. That's it. I was not happy about the...

Good movie, but too much hype.
I admit it was a good story, but definitely not worth all the praise it is receiving. My theory is that because everyone uses Facebook they were interested to find out that it had such a scandalous back story. Other than that, the plot was not...

Decent, not award-worthy
I could have lived without watching it. Shot very well and the dialog flowed very smoothly, but tremendously unremarkable.

Hideously overrated movie. This movie was an inflight movie selection, otherwise I wouldn't have watched it to begin with. Most of the "action" consists of people sitting around a table in legal discussions. The characters are shallow,...

Doesn't Live Up To The Hype
"The Social Network" started off strong. The scenes documenting the inception of Facebook at Harvard were, suprisingly, exciting. Jesse Eisenberg was superb, delivering his lines with a sharp tongue and quick wit. But, about halfway through, the...

Good, but not THAT good...
A lot of buzz and great reviews about this movie. It's definitely a good drama, well acted, but I felt like something was missing. Maybe I expected too much. On the other hand, Facebook is still so fresh, the controversies haven't been settled yet,...

Fincher should make room in his trophy cabinet for an Oscar
In The Social Network There are no blue people, no explosive special effects, there isn't a mind bending plot that makes you reconsider your perception of reality, also no beloved family member gets killed. But even without the elements mentioned...

I love Facebook
And I love everything about it, so of course I was sold. The fact that it is also a very good drama is a nice addition.

Although I was reluctant at first, The Social Network proved to be a captivating piece of more than clinging on the current hit. This film could have also been a really bad one, just exploiting the popularity of Facebook with no real essence....

From the interviews I have seen, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is a more likable guy than he comes off as in this movie, but Jesse Eisenberg is good, not entirely unsympathetic and strict adherence to the facts is really beside the point. It's an...
