Summary of The Secret Life of Bees

After residing on the New York Times best seller list, Sue Monk Kidd's beloved novel now moves to the silver screen. So Lily finds comfort in her friendship with her caretaker, Rosaleen (Jennifer Hudson). The unlikely pair escapes to a town where they stay with the Boatwright sisters (Queen Latifah, Sophie Okonedo, and Alicia Keys), who show Lily the wonders of beekeeping.

I would say this is a wonderful movie, it got me mad at the beginning but that is only because I only know about living this Centery, Back then that is how they lived but still got me mad, you cry too & the ending was so good. I give it a 5+ :):)
Queen Latifa, Jennifer Hudson and Alecia Keyes and it's not a musical!!!! Great story! Perfect casting! Follows the book incredibly well. YOu can't go wrong with this one!
