I enjoyed watching this Star Studded movie, and I found it to be very erotic. I liked the story-line and I felt that the acting was great. I especially love to watch Monica Bellucci, Julianne Moore and Winona Ryder they are three of my favorite actors. It is a Dramatic Comedy, or you could say it is a Comedic Drama. The art and costume direction are superb. Great care is taken to ensure that each of Pippa Lee's "lives" has its own unique color palette and sets to match. Keeping it all together is a wonderful recurring musical theme and very sweet score. I highly recommend it.

10/10Must See
Bravo to writer/director Rebecca Miller and her brilliant cast of actors. Pippa Lee is an absorbing, challenging, and entertaining movie with lovely, complex characters who balance nicely between being normal enough to relate to and sympathize with, yet weird enough to intrigue the viewer. Even the more minor characters are complex and layered, and the star-studded cast fleshes them out so well that each one seems vital and important, even if we only see him or her for a few moments. Robin Wright is intricate and immaculate in her portrayal of Pippa, a woman with deep layers of mysterious history hidden underneath her calm and placid exterior. Wright does a sublime job of hinting at and subtly revealing Pippa's fraying edges without once going overboard. The story itself is edgy with nice moments of humor, and it leaves the viewer feeling hopeful without ever resorting to a saccharine fix. Kudos to Miller for her fabulous dialogue, story line, and character creation. I look forward to seeing more from her.

Introspective
The movie seems to be an ambivalent to "Revolutionary Road" set years later. The viewer gets to know the heroine, Pippa Lee, from birth to post mid-life crises. The film laps change in time to reflect her contemporary life situation with the one of her childhood. The mood is mainly sad but also contains a lot of sarcasm which enlightens the many sad and confusing moments in Pippa's life. How and why she fell in love, what makes her psyche weak and what she is interested in.
This is definitely not a movie to entertain you more so an introspective and a view of a certain high-brow, ecletic, artistic culture that predominated many New York scenes.
