The Princess Bride

A minority view: This is a low-IQ, mocking sort of movie. The characters are stock hollywood and the producers seem only to be able to ridicule them, but not to invent, or even hint why the ridicule is appropriate. The pace is slow, and my kids lost...
Should have watched it sooner.
All I can say is I can not believe it took me this long to watch this because it is a great film. Good action, lovely romance, and the script is so witty and humourous.
Amazing from start to finish
If all movies were made like this. Critics would have nothing to complain about. Well they are critics so they would complain. This did for action/ comedies to what Starwars did for scifi Genre. Redefined a theme, made it better, full bodied dialogs...
The Princess Bride is, well, inconceivably great
Just like Grandpa says, The Princess Bride has everything. Great story, fantastic quotes, and some wonderfully funny bits (Billy Crystal is fabulous, as always). A great movie. In my opinion, the best movie ever!

I must shamefully admit that I only saw this movie about a year ago. of course i heard a lot about it, as it is such a cult favorite. but when i hear too much about a film my expectations tend to be high and then i'm disappointed. i was afraid the...
Childhood memories
I never get tired of watching this move. I still enjoy it as much as my children, it’s a must in the family DVD collection!
