One of the most powerful/emotional film I have ever seen.
Definitely a tearjerker.
Good movie
I always tune in to watch this movie when I see it on TV. It's definitely an emotional tearjerker about the love story of Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling).
Lacking Invention
This type of tale has been told over and over again. The Notebook relied too heavily on character motifs, which resulted in unsatisfactory exploration of motive. The whole movie suffered from severe melodrama. The parallels would have been more...

If you like romantic, sappy, sad movies, then The Notebook is for you. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but if you don't like those kind of movies, then you should steer clear of this movie. The Notebook is a story about an old man (James Garner)...
