It was just okay. It seemed to take forever for something to happen and when it did I just didn't find it tense. The so-called scare moments unfold so slowly that it's obvious what is going to happen. I think one thing missing was good suspenseful music and sound. Overall it's the kind of movie when you finish you think "I could have lived without that". It's all just kind of forgettable.

"Hitchcock fan makes Grudge meets Amityville", that about sums it up. Don't make any mistake, this is a supernatural horror, if you aren't interested going in, it won't make you a fan. It doesn't bring anything original or innovative to the table, but it does brings a few scares which is what you're probably looking for if you're reading this. I liked John Corbett, the scares were decent, and the toddler/ghost combination leads to some creepy moments. It could've used more scares, the end was weak and somewhat predictable, and a lot of the characters were cardboard cutout stereotypes. It's unoriginal, targeted towards teens, and will ultimately be forgotten... but still enjoyable.
