Critics Reviews

The New York Times
An astonishingly lazy and perfunctory effort that does little to realize his (Carrey) comic potential.
Entertainment Weekly
The Mask, a rattletrap Jekyll-and-Hyde farce, surrounds Carrey with a nothing plot and a cast of ciphers. Still, his scenes as the Mask are rowdy and enjoyable.

Users Reviews

Jim Carrey is hillarious!
Jim Carrey is probably the only actor that can bring to life what can only be shown in comics or animation. "the Mask" is the proof for that. Non-stop entertainment and fun throughout this film are guarenteed!
A fun film for the whole family
when I first watched it cinema at the summer of 1994, I thought it was hilarious, and I'd probably think so even today- it's hard not to laugh when Jim Carrey does what he does best.
