Summary of The Maid
Hailed as the first major horror movie to come out of Singapore, Kelvin Tong's chilling, harrowing thriller follows Rosa (Alessandra de Rossi), a young woman who leaves her home in the Philippines to find work as a maid. A practical young woman who doesn't put stock in superstitions, she violates the sacred rules of the Seventh Month of the Chinese calendar, and soon all Hell breaks loose--literally.
