Summary of The Lucky Ones

A blackout causes massive flight cancellations, and the three people decide to drive to Pittsburgh for what turns out to be a very revealing road trip.

The Lucky Ones is a wonderfully written, directed and acted film. A trip home from the Iraq War chancily brings three U.S. soldiers together for a journey across the country and through their lives. The lives of the ones they left remaining at home...
A very understated movie. At times the plot can seem a bit thin. but that is more than overcome by the wonderful portrayal and great acting of 3 very interesting characters.
