Wow.

one of my favorites
As a die-hard Tolkien fan, i was both thrilled and skeptical when i heard about the upcoming movie production of Lord of the Rings. i really wanted to see the amazingly detailed story and world come to life on screen, but i was also afraid that no motion picture could capture the complexity and multiple storylines. when i went to see the first part of LotR i was completely amazed. the film was, as far as i was concerned, as close to perfection as it could be. the amazing design brought me right into Tolkien's fantastic atmosphere, the actors were exactly as i imagined them and the story was exciting and suspenseful throughout. it really became one of my favorites and when the entire trilogy ended i felt as if something would now be missing in my life... fortunately i recently heard that they are filming The Hobbit, so i'm hoping i will be able to dive into this magical world once again!

I personally think the movie is true to the book, and i loved the movie
i especially loved the final part where they go to war. It's what i love to watch and they had great cam shots in this movie. i also suggest watching the other movies of "lord of the rings" - two towers, etc
