Profile of The Killing Gene
The mood of The Killing Gene is tense, rough, and suspenseful. The plot centers around tracking someone down, a master criminal, and a dangerous attraction. It is a thriller, crime, and mystery movie. In approach, The Killing Gene is serious and realistic. The setting is New York. It happens in contemporary times. The Killing Gene is especially suggested for a boys' night.
Summary of The Killing Gene
The victims are always found in one of two conditions. Some are horribly mutilated, while others seem to have escaped with only a complicated algebraic equation carved into their skin. While investigating the bizarre case, New York detectives Eddie Argo (Stellan Skarsgard, INSOMNIA) and Helen Wescott (Melissa George, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT) deduce that the M.O. of the depraved serial killer responsible for these assaults revolves around giving his or her victims the choice to sacrifice their own life or that of a loved one. And, as the police draw closer to their unstable prey, Eddie might just find himself on the chopping block. Co-starring Selma Blair (STORYTELLING) and Ashley Walters (SPEED RACER), THE KILLING GENE (aka WAZ) is a twisted cop thriller in the intense, gritty tradition of SEVEN.
