Would've been awesome
It's pretty much a remake on Logan's Run, I mean not completely, but it's still the same concept.. the characters even have the same kind of names. There's still a lottery. Graphics, and cinematography were awesome though.
Michael Bay takes it... over the top... again.
I'm not sure who exactly tried to ruin this movie, but I'm blaming Michael Bay, because it's convenient. The setting of the story is really good, with the dissident protagonist starting to question the social construct around him, finally evolving...
What a Ride. I loved this Film. It had the feel of "Total Recall". Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson were great together. Scarlett was just gorgeous in this movie. Djimon Hounsou's character of the Navy Seal mercenary type is very interesting....
The Island was no disappointment. Actually, it was surprisingly refreshing. I have my complaints, but even though the movie was far from perfect, it was darn good. The first half of the movie sets up the world as the clones know it: a bright, clean...
This is not a movie I would normally bother writing a review for, but the surprisingly positive reviews give me no choice! Potentially interesting idea, poorly executed in my opinion. It does have the greatest chase scene of all time, though.
The first half of this movie is pretty good. The last half of this movie is pretty bad.

Nice
there's nothing special in it, to tell the truth. I saw films with similar plot before. but still, it gets the job done for the genre fans, and I liked it.
excellent sci-fi/action
decent action and exciting chases. presents an amazing, stylish future with an important messege about how far people are ready to go.
Likely to see
Not for me
