Summary of The Interview
When Eddie Rodney Fleming (Hugo Weaving, Agent Smith from THE MATRIX), an ordinary man, is suddenly arrested by police and taken to a claustrophobic police station, his life is turned upside-down. At first he is merely questioned about a stolen car, but the police begin to ask increasingly threatening questions about missing persons and eyewitnesses. As the investigation continues, it appears that Fleming is going to be caught deeper and deeper in a nightmare morass - or perhaps he actually has something to hide? THE INTERVIEW is a Kafkaesque nightmare with numerous twists and turns and intriguing ideas about how the truth can be bent to suit an agenda. Winner of three awards from the Australian Film Institute, including Best Film, Original Screenplay, and Actor.
