His appreciation of women is also apparent off-stage, leading to a love triangle involving actresses Anna Held (Luise Rainer) and Billie Burke (Myrna Loy).

Anyone who is a fan of 30s movies has to see this one, even if you don't know anything about Flo Ziefeld. The "A Pretty Girl is like a Melody" number is a classic. Be warned though--most of the other musical numbers are far too long. The DVD extras... Read and rate it

I wanted to give this a better rating, I really did. At nearly three hours, Im glad I watched it in pieces (although it took almost two weeks). Highlights: Ive been exposed to William Powell (who played Ziegfeld). Although not the most likable... Read and rate it
