Very, very disappointing.
Fincher did a good, Hitchcock-like job on this one. But letting some plot-holes and some logic mistakes remain unfixed in the scenario, I can't say he did a great job. I want to point out that all of the people whose breathes were taken at the end...

Very, very disappointing.
Fincher did a good, Hitchcock-like job on this one. But letting some plot-holes and some logic mistakes remain unfixed in the scenario, I can't say he did a great job. I want to point out that all of the people whose breathes were taken at the end of the film, with that "amazing" twist, all of those "expand your character, meet your true self, be a different person" pranks were pointless. Almost all of the pranks were based on life threatening situations. So the guys who done them basically says we're gonna f**k your mind up and f** some more and f** some more until you know your life is worth a lot. Also stole his money. So it's like this: "You can lose all of your things in life including your life itself and live better". Well this is what I came up with actually. I didn't understand why they included his father. He NEVER asked about his father, it was on his mind but he NEVER SHOWED anyone. I think his brother may knew but I dunno, it was not clear. And yeah, it should've been. And most importantly what happened to the character? What was his change? I didn't quite get that either. I think they only shot this movie for the end. They were so exited about their great twist, they didn't care about the big holes in the scenario. I think it's ridiculous.

This movie really kept me on the edge of my seat. the complex story of mind games and psychological "pranks" is so suspenseful. Like the hero, you're always one step behind in discovering what's happening and it keeps you really intrigued. very...

This movie really kept me on the edge of my seat. the complex story of mind games and psychological "pranks" is so suspenseful. Like the hero, you're always one step behind in discovering what's happening and it keeps you really intrigued. very recommended indeed!

Great psychological thriller.
This is a mysterious, surprising thriller about a lonely and rich man who is trying to find out why his life has suddenly turned upside down. The ending neatly ties up all the loose ends.
