Summary of The Double

When the assassination of a U.S. senator bears the signature style of a Russian spy known as Cassius, CIA director Tom Highland (Martin Sheen) calls top operative Paul Shepherdson (Richard Gere) out of retirement to investigate. Paul's partner on the case is Ben Geary (Topher Grace), a young agent who is also an expert on Cassius and is certain the Russian is behind the slaying, even though Paul insists Cassius is long dead. However, Paul may not be who he claims to be.

Starts out predictable
This movie is so predictable, that even the writers knew we fould figure it all out and therefore didn't waste much time on trying to make it exciting. And unlike other movies where they think they have oh-so-clever plot twists and wait until the...
you've seen this one before
and it wasn't that great the first time. yes, it's another story about uninhibited rivalry between two lethal special agents. wait for the midnight TV rerun.
