It could have been a good concept that could have made an exciting and interesting film, had there been something more imaginative than yet another tired variation of the patriarchal monotheistic god at the core of it.

It's Matt Damon....
I will not give anything away. Excellent cast. I've enjoyed Anthony Mackie on screen for some time. Emily Blunt has a way of drawing you into her roles and has a natural humor. John Slattery (who I had to IMDB to get his name) is simply gorgeous, like his counterpart Anderson Cooper. And, Matt Damon...well it's Matt Damon! I rated this "Good" because the idea/story is fresh, unique, thought-provoking, and interesting. I understand that people will have an issue with the revelation and I share that. But, go see The Adjustment Bureau anyway.

Not for humans.
At first I wanted to say that this film is for people who believe in God-destiny-fate (which I'm not really one of).

This is a good story and a bad film
An interesting science fiction concept does not always make a good movie. What could get you thinking and wondering simply turns into a silly action movie.

Adjustment Bureau follows the standard romantic movie formula but adds a twist of fantasy. It would be difficult to explain the reasons I found the movie dull towards the end without spoilers. The first 60 minutes were fantastic. Once the story...

Adjustment Bureau follows the standard romantic movie formula but adds a twist of fantasy. It would be difficult to explain the reasons I found the movie dull towards the end without spoilers. The first 60 minutes were fantastic. Once the story starts to come to a conclusion I was seriously disapointed. The writers used the oldest literary device to explain away the mysteries in the story and in all honesty it became impossible for me to suspend disbelief any longer.
