Ted can be described as humorous and witty. The plot revolves around a wish come true, adolescence vs. adulthood, and an odd couple. Its comic aspect comes from silly humor and irreverent humor. Summary of Ted

Mark Wahlberg plays a perfectly normal Boston native whose childhood wish for his teddy bear to come to life comes true. The bear (Ted) — voiced by MacFarlane himself — remains his best friend well into his adult years. Conflict emerges when Ted's irresponsible and vulgar slacker lifestyle comes in the way of his attempt to embrace his adulthood and the woman of his dreams, played by Mila Kunis. MacFarlane's directorial debut will be a live-action effort with the exception of the computer-animated Ted. MacFarlane wrote the screenplay alongside his Family Guy colleagues Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild

The Concept only goes so far

The idea of a cute cudely teddy bear with a foul mouth, and rude habits was funny for the first five minutes. After that the scenes of simulated sex, drug use and profanity just got old. Read and rate it
