Profile of Stealing Sinatra

Stealing Sinatra can be described as humorous. The plot revolves around hostages, crime gone awry, and kidnapping. Its comic aspect comes from dark humor. Stealing Sinatra's main genre is comedy. It takes place in contemporary times. It is drawn from a biography.

Summary of Stealing Sinatra

William H. Macy and David Arquette star in this comedy about a flawed plot to kidnap Frank Sinatra Jr. Based on the real life kidnapping of the famed singer's son in 1963, STEALING SINATRA puts a black humor spin on what was, at the time, a rather sobering event. This technique is reminiscent of TO DIE FOR. Filmmaker Ron Underwood delightfully revels in the domino effect of bad choices that break down into hilarious chaos. These acclaimed actors play up the bumbling, essentially harmless characteristics of these criminal idiots.
