I'm very surprised. This movie is everything I and II should have been. Some might say that after seeing this one the first two prequels are better, but I think it renders them obsolete. The entire prequel story should be this episode and nothing else. The actings is excellent! I don't know why some people are again dogging the acting, it's quite good. The story is rich and has new layers and revelations. The turn of Anakin is sad and as cool as it is to see Vader, by the end of the movie I was very depressed to see it happen. The Jedi come off as haughty and arrogant, which in my opinion adds to the story. The Sith, or Anakin at least, are very sympathetic. Seeing the psychology of Anakin's turn makes me want to know more about why Maul and Dooku turned. This movie opens the universe even wider and one day when Lucas dies someone else will come in and tell us new stories.

It's over. Six movies and 28 years later the saga is finished. In a way, it's a sad feeling. No longer will I await a mid-May opening date. No longer will I see the summer movie calendar situate itself around one movie. No longer will I eagerly await news about the next Star Wars villain. It's over. Done. Finished.
Short and sweet: Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith was the ending I think every fan wanted to see. I can't imagine George Lucas wrapping the series up in a better manner. Like most of the fans are saying, Episode III was worth the wait.
What I will say is this: Episode III has enough action for three movies, all packed into a tight little package. The film is paced wonderfully, especially when compared with the last two episodes. The movie starts off hard and fast, and only gets faster. The battle scenes were some of the most visually stunning moments I've ever scene on screen. The lightsaber duels (yes, plural, as in many) were long, beautifully choreographed, and a pure pleasure to watch.
Without giving away anything, I have to say there were things I liked about the film, and things I didn't. The good news is this: the positives far outweighed the negatives. Sure, General Grievous didn't impress me too much, but Palpatine sure did. I didn't particularly care for the scenes in Kashykk (they seemed like filler, unimportant and disposable) but I loved Mustafar. The specifics that I disliked were minor in Episode III. Small things that I'll complain about just because I like to complain. Overall, the movie was amazing.

This is the best of the three "first" Star Wars movies. The action scenes are impressive, even when they still bother the viewer with a lot of politics. The best thing about this movie is that the CGI looks really good, unlike most movies today, in which CGI effects look sloppy and fake. The music is really good and everybody (except youg Vader) are real good at acting (Hayden Christensen is awful). This film is ideal for fans of sci fi and fans of star wars only. Actually it makes very little sense by itself.

4/10Disappointing
"Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith" will provoke fan revenge in the form of a promise to avoid George Lucas films from here on out. He seems to have forgotten how to tell a story and how to involve the audience emotionally. Despite the star cast, the acting is mediocre, but in the case of the fellow who plays Anakin, unforgiveable. His performance could be the working definition of wooden. Sadly, his character carries the whole movie a lot depends on our believing in his motivations. Fat chance. The ho-hum special effects that Lucas touts endlessly in the gargantuan p.r. that preceeds each increasingly bad "Star Wars" entry actually comes as a relief from the human plot. Avoid at all costs unless you're a "Star Wars" completist.
