Summary of Special

In this drama, Michael Rapaport (THE WAR AT HOME) stars as Les Franken, a meter man who seeks professional help when his depression becomes too much to handle. But the experimental anti-depressant acts as more than just a mood booster; after taking the pill, Les thinks that he has super powers such as flying and telepathy. So Les decides to stop writing tickets and start saving the world. SPECIAL also stars Paul Blackthorne (THE DRESDEN FILES) and Josh Peck (THE WACKNESS).

Ive seen a few reviews calling this a depressing film. I can understand how people could read that into a movie about a man who tragically thinks he has superpowers but does not. The beginning of the movie points out that what is really special... Read and rate it

Though I see a lot of superhero movies, it hasn't really been until this movie's era of release that they have reached their peak... not until this time have they become impossible to make fun of. SPECIAL transcends everything you think you know... Read and rate it
