I like trash
The film, the idea and everything is poor... though I like it. Trash, once seen, you can always refer to the sensless stupid scence... Still, the film is bad.

Well, at times, SOAP is any number of things. Cheesy, Gory, Funny. It's hard to pin it down. I will say that overall the movie is very cool, and the vicious snake attacks made up for a lot of shortcomings. In one such scene, an Anaconda attempts to swallow a man whole! It's not a groundbreaking film by any means, but it is a fun, and tense thrillride all things considered. Check it out if you like Snakes, Samuel L., or Airplane disaster movies!

Campy, silly, stupid, and FUN. It is what its supposed to be. Of course its not winning any oscars, but this is a perfect guilty pleasure flick to consume a couple of empty hours.

This movie worked in a crowded theatre with people to cheer with. Seriously, if you did not see this film in that setting you missed out. After watching this then I walked out of the theatre and was pumped and high-fiving random strangers. There is something wonderful about being part of a crowd who all are on the same page. I saw this again at home with less people around and it felt like I was not even seeing the same movie. With out a crowd this film is just not as fun. Sure it has its moments but fundamentally this is a film that is a social experience. If you are going to watch this invite some friends over and make sure there is tons of popcorn!

"Snakes on a Plane" is a consistently enjoyable movie with more than a few laughs. Of most interest is the unique and extraordinary ways -- and places upon the body -- in which the serpents attack. The film follows closely in the tradition of all disaster movies: We meet and get to know about a dozen characters, and then they're all put in grave jeopardy. The pace is brisk; this is not a tedious film. With the most descriptive title in film history, how can you not see it?! The DVD extras move pretty fast, too, including segments on the animation and digital wizardry, and (most interesting) the real-snake handling.
