Sleepy Hollow, 1999

I'am sorry for my bad english. Tim Burton succeeded in put really great atmosphere in this movie. The sound, the lights, the fog, the trees shape, the way images are captured by the camera provide a very good ambience, and turns this movie into some kind of artistics film. That's really a part I liked. And that's why I always watch Tim Burton creations. As for the scenario, the idea is quite classic, with some usual tickets like: good and evil are well separated. the heroes don't die at the end, but found a family and have lot of childrens and happyness. the religion is going to protect you I see no incoherence in the story. apart from a little detail, when Mr Deep enters the wood house in the ponan forest to consult the witch. He enters with his gun, but leave th house without it. ok he could have put it inside his coat. Music is good. Special effects are good too. a great one.

One of Johnny Depp's most magnificent movies. A mysterious character without a head is decapitating the townspeople. The investigator, Ichabod Crane (Depp) is a scientist who comes to solve the case and doesn't believe the townspeople's descriptions. That is, until he discovers some disturbing things involving Katrina Van Tassel, whose heart he's trying to win. The movie is really suspenseful and I've now watched it a few times and enjoyed it every time.
