I am NOT into musicals. Or, for that matter, movies from the 50s. But darn it, this is just an infectious piece of film, and Kelly's performances (especially the iconic "Singin' in the Rain" routine) will stay stuck in your head for hours afterward....

What a wonderful film! it really made me wanna sing out loud. the story of the transition to talking films is great, witty and touching. the characters are unforgettable and the entire experience is thoroughly enjoyable. must see!

This is my favorite musical and my favorite showbiz film. The idea of a film within film is always intriguing, and the whole "talkies" plot is SO hilarious! Innocent and funny. It is definitely a classic and essential to everyone who loves cinema...
