Summary of Shoot on Sight
With its roots in reality, this thriller explores the dangers for Muslims who live in European and American cities where anti-Islam sentiments can run high. Pakistan-born policeman Tariq Ali (Naseerudin Shah, MONSOON WEDDING) lives in London with his English wife (Greta Scacchi) in the wake of the July 2005 terrorist attacks on the tube. As he begins to investigate a man accused of terrorism--who was killed as a result of the city's "Shoot on Sight" policy--he realizes he is caught between his prejudiced coworkers and his fellow Muslims. SHOOT ON SIGHT also stars Om Puri, Brian Cox, Laila Rouass, and Sadie Frost.
